The Festival of Tara is no more.
Yet, there is another event at Camp Gaea that same weekend that *I* am actively and passionately involved with.
Temple Indigo is a serious and significant exploration of sacred sexuality and the roles we all play in that dynamic. After five years, it has garnered a respectable faculty and dedicated following.
I would encourage anyone who respects my guidance to look into this event, and attend if possible.

It is with both gratitude and bittersweet that today I OFFICIALLY end the era of The Festival of Tara.
Resources and many other things are Not coming together this year for Tara to once again grace the ridge at Camp Gaea.
It has been a phenomenon. A singularity.
A tribe gathering by its own will for two decades, to bring forth a holy and great work to honor our Ancestors and benefit the land we all Love and have bled for, Camp Gaea.
Tara has survived it's birth as The Celtic Tribal Gathering, it's transformation into The Festival of Tara, the loss of it's mother, Cammie, and the faltering of its father, Threepoles.
But all things have a life span, and to recognize when it is time to lie in the soft grass and struggle no more is a great release.
It has been an honor of my life to Serve You, my kin, my tribe, and in my small way keep this alive for you for so many years. No one single person deserves the gratitude I hold in my heart for these memories, these friendships, and these works in the names of our Fathers and Mothers, Sisters and Brothers.
Taelte and Lugh smile widely and warmly on their children, who have honored them so greatly for so long, and have kept alive the memories and names of all who have walked on before us.
BE PROUD, Tara People, of the work you have done, and the beauty you have created for all.
Well Done. Well done, Indeed.
Think in Love and Gratitude when you think of Me, of Cammie...of Caellean, Shaggyman, Sionna, Meriam, Scolean, and all the original family of Tara. Be grateful to Russ Criswell, Josh Slavin and Cynthia Hines, who bore so much of the weight of The Games the past 2 years. Remember the storms and the skies. Remember the heat and the fog. Gods, the fogs...
Remeber all of the Champions of Tara, all genders, all ages. All those who epitomized the greatness we can become in Service to our Tribe.
Remember what YOU gave to the land, and the Tribe. Carry that forever in your hearts. GIVE THAT to people you meet, for they are in need of it.
And in all things and at all times, REMEMBER those who went on before you. As long as you speak their names, they are Immortal.
The Festival of Tara is a community gathering honoring the old ways of gods and ancestors. It is a 100% benefit for Gaea Retreat Center. Started in 1997 The Festival of Tara 2015 celebrates it's 19th year.
